Streamline is pleased to support Team Orkneyinga Saga this March as they take on Doddie’s Triple Crown 2026, an ambitious endurance cycling challenge raising funds to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Taking place from 9–13 March 2026, the challenge will see the team cycle approximately 750 miles from Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, delivering the match ball ahead of the Ireland v Scotland Six Nations fixture.
Team Orkneyinga Saga will be part of a wider group of more than 400 cyclists from rugby clubs and organisations across the UK and Ireland, riding in support of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, established by the late Scottish rugby legend Doddie Weir.
The team was formed in 2023 by Orkney Rugby Football Club President Garry Coltherd, bringing together local cyclists, volunteers and supporters with a shared goal: raising awareness and vital funding for MND research, care and support.
Since its formation, Team Orkneyinga Saga has taken part in several international cycling events supporting MND charities, helping raise over £140,000 towards research and patient support initiatives.
To support this year’s challenge, Streamline has pledged a £500 donation to help the team reach their fundraising target and continue their efforts in the fight against MND.
We wish the team every success as they take on this impressive challenge!
