In 1996, Westdyke Community Club was set up in Westhill to give local young people the chance to play football. Thirty years on, the club is marking the milestone with an anniversary ball at The Chester Hotel in Aberdeen this November, and Streamline Shipping Group is delighted to be supporting the celebrations as a sponsor.
Over three decades, Westdyke has become one of the best-known youth football clubs in the North East, helping young people from Westhill and the surrounding area to play, learn and develop, from their very first sessions through to competitive youth football.
The anniversary ball is a chance to celebrate the players, coaches, volunteers and families who have made the club what it is today. It’s also an important fundraising event to help Westdyke keep supporting young players for years to come.
