Streamline Shipping Group is delighted to announce its partnership with Caledonian Freight to launch a dedicated freight service connecting Scotland with both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, with daily departures and full customs support.
The service combines Streamline's Scotland-wide depot network, centred on the Coatbridge hub, with Caledonian Freight's cross-border expertise and NI/ROI distribution capability. Streamline continues to manage all Scotland-wide collections and deliveries, while Caledonian Freight handles cross-border trucking and onward distribution, creating a seamless service across the full route.
This partnership is ideal for manufacturers, shippers and businesses that need consistent movement of pallet freight across Scotland and Ireland. Daily departures ensure goods move on a reliable schedule, and this combined network means faster transit times than either Streamline nor Caledonian Freight could offer independently.
Full customs support is also included for both the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland routes, so compliance does not need to be managed separately.
Though Streamline has already supported Scotland-Ireland freight movements for a number of years, the launch of this new partnership formalises and strengthens our capability with a dedicated, direct network, offering clearer routing, faster transit and a single point of contact for Scotland-wide collections through to final delivery.
