Vanessa took over full responsibility for the running of the depot which employs 40 staff on 1st January 2010, and follows on from the retirement of Jim Monkman who had loyally served the Company as Depot Manager in Orkney for the previous 22 years. Vanessa will be ably assisted by Jimmy Leisk, Fiona Stewart and Ross Donaldson.
Commenting on the appointment Streamline’s Operations Director, Phil Bremner said “Orkney is a major trading area for us, and we are delighted to welcome Vanessa to the management team at Streamline. This is a key position in Orkney, and her many years experience dealing with various aspects of our Orkney operation will most certainly add value to the wide range of transport & freight services we provide to our many clients in Orkney”
