  • Newsham Racing Remain in TCR UK Title Fight After Donington Challenge

It was a weekend of highs and lows this September for Newsham Racing at Donington Park, but the team remains firmly in contention for the 2026 TCR UK Championship.

With Streamline Shipping Group continuing its support of the team throughout the season, Round 5 saw driver Callum Newsham return to the full Grand Prix circuit.

Callum went on to cross the line first in Race One after controlling the race from the front and building a six-second lead. However, a post-race technical check resulted in the car being excluded, meaning the points from the race were lost.

That left Callum starting Race Two at a disadvantage, but he fought his way through the field to finish fifth in a closely contested race, with just two seconds separating the top six.

Despite a frustrating weekend, Callum remains third in the championship and just 27 points from the lead, keeping the title race very much alive!

The championship now heads to Oulton Park on 3 October 2026, where Callum will be looking to build on his strong pace and continue the fight for the TCR UK title.

At Streamline, we’re proud to support Newsham Racing throughout the 2026 season and wish the team the very best for the next round!
