Streamline Shipping Group is proud to have supported the project to replace and upgrade the playground at Dounby Community School by transporting the new playground equipment from Aberdeen to Orkney. The project has created an exciting new outdoor space for local children.
The upgraded playground was officially opened in June 2026 as part of the school's 50th anniversary celebrations, marking an important milestone for both the school and the wider Dounby community.
The launch was made possible through the dedication of the Dounby Parent Council, volunteers, funders and local supporters, who worked together to deliver a modern playground that will benefit pupils for many years to come.
