  • Proud to Back Tallis: Streamline’s 2025 Season with Orkney Women’s FC

This past season, Streamline Shipping Group was proud to get behind Orkney Women’s Football Club player, Tallis Scott, as she took to the pitch to compete alongside her teammates in the Highlands & Islands League.

But this sponsorship wasn’t just about having our name on a shirt – it was about making sure a passionate player had what she needed to stay in the game.

In a league where players regularly travel long distances and juggle work, family, and training, the practical support of sponsorships really matters. By covering the cost of travel, kit, and training, Tallis could throw herself into the season and enjoy being back on the pitch without worrying about the extras.

And what a season it turned out to be.

Orkney Women’s FC delivered hard-fought wins and strong performances right across the league, and for Tallis, it also brought personal triumph – her first full season back after a four year break from the game and overcoming injury earlier in the year. Tallis, shared:

“Streamline’s sponsorship has made a huge difference to my season. By covering training costs and away-day expenses, they took a real weight off my shoulders and allowed me to focus fully on my football.

“Returning to the game in November 2024 after several years away was both exciting and challenging, and having that support meant I could give everything to the season. Playing in the opening game at the Island Games, with the atmosphere and team spirit around us, reminded me exactly why I wanted to come back.”

With the season now wrapped up, Tallis and her teammates are already looking ahead to 2026 and building on what they’ve achieved.

But why do we sponsor teams and individuals like Tallis?

Well, the answer is simple: because we believe sport brings people together, helping to build confidence, resilience, and pride in the communities we serve every day. And by supporting players at a grassroots level, we get to keep those opportunities alive, especially in places where taking part can mean long journeys and real commitment.

Seeing Tallis complete her first full season back has been a highlight for us, and we’re proud to have played a small part in making that possible. We can't wait to see what she and her teammates achieve next.
