Assistant Trailer Fitter - Aberdeen

We have an opportunity for an experienced full time Assistant Trailer Fitter to join the Operations team at our Aberdeen Depot. This role is to support the operation of the Aberdeen depot and maintain our trailer fleet.

This role will mainly be based at our Aberdeen depot but travel to other areas of the business may be required from time to time. The majority of the workload is scheduled maintenance and repairs with a small percentage being unpredicted breakdowns.

Working days will be Monday – Friday, however there will need to be flexibility around start and finish times to meet trailer availability.

The role may involve additional work at the weekend during peak periods

Role Function

  • Assisting with trailer inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trailers and other vehicles
  • Working closely with a team that’s hands-on, supportive, and values your input
  • Keeping our trailer fleet road-ready and safe

Required Experience

  • Some mechanical experience (trailers, HGVs, or similar)
  • A proactive mindset and a sense of pride in your work
  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Enthusiastic and committed to providing outstanding quality of work
  • Flexible and able to take instruction
  • Be self-motivated and willing to work within a team
