We are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to join our team at Rushden. This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
The role will involve overseeing the day to day running of our transport operation, ensuring compliance, efficiency and excellent service levels.
A valid International CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily transport operation and driver performance.
- Ensure compliance with DVSA regulations, Operator Licence requirements and transport legislation.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, driver hours and tachograph compliance.
- Promote safe, efficient and cost-effective transport operations.
Previous Transport Manager (or similar) experience is essential along with a strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
